On April 11, the forum “Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnamese Tourism” attracted nearly 300 delegates. During the second session, titled “Panel Discussion on Green Destination Development Practices in Vietnam,” Tung Lam Development JSC shared its experience in green transformation at Yên Tử.
- Balancing Development and Conservation Tung Lam collaborated with POMA (France) to ensure projects wouldn’t impact Yên Tử National Forest and heritage sites. In 2002, the Hoang Long cable car system was introduced, transforming Yên Tử’s landscape sustainably.
- Changing Community Mindset The company worked closely with local communities to promote sustainable practices, protect the environment, and enhance cultural and scenic preservation. Tung Lam also played a vital role in organizing the Yên Tử Spring Festival, ensuring safety, hygiene, and cultural integrity.
- Preserving Heritage for Generations The Trúc Lâm Cultural Center was developed to revive cultural and spiritual values using eco-friendly materials, safeguarding Vietnamese heritage for future generations and promoting these values internationally.
On April 10, Yên Tử Mountain proudly earned the prestigious certification for meeting the VITA Green Tourism Criteria, achieving the “VITA Green” label at the highest level of excellence in the destination category. Additionally, Legacy Yên Tử MGallery was honored with the “VITA Green” label, recognizing its exceptional standards in the accommodation category.
Together, let’s elevate sustainable tourism and preserve our heritage for a brighter future.
